Welcome to Goodmums.

These Terms & Conditions explain the rules that apply when you visit our website, create an account, place an order, purchase a product, use a Goodmums service, or place an order through another official Goodmums sales channel.

Please read these Terms before placing an order.

By using Goodmums or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Warranty Policy, and any product-specific conditions shown before purchase.

If any part of these Terms conflicts with a right or requirement that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of Bangladesh, the applicable law will take priority.

1. About Goodmums

Goodmums is an ecommerce store serving customers in Bangladesh.

Our website is:

https://goodmums.com

You can contact Goodmums at:

Email: hello@goodmums.com
Phone: +8801540767848

Throughout these Terms:

“Goodmums”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Goodmums.

“You” and “customer” refer to the person using Goodmums, placing an order, purchasing a product, receiving an order, or communicating with us regarding a purchase or service.

2. Where These Terms Apply

These Terms apply to purchases and transactions made directly with Goodmums.

This includes orders placed through:

  • goodmums.com;
  • our official Facebook page;
  • our official Instagram page;
  • other Goodmums-owned or Goodmums-operated digital sales channels; and
  • other direct ordering methods officially offered by Goodmums.

The ordering process may differ between channels, but these Terms and the applicable Goodmums policies will continue to apply unless we clearly agree otherwise for a specific transaction.

An order made with an independent third-party seller that is not operated by Goodmums is not governed by these Terms.

3. Who Can Use Goodmums

You must normally be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to independently place an order with Goodmums.

If you are under 18, you should use Goodmums only with the involvement, supervision, or authorization of a parent or legal guardian.

Many products sold by Goodmums may be intended for babies or children, but the purchasing and account relationship should be managed by an adult.

4. Your Account

You may be able to purchase from Goodmums as a guest or through a registered account, depending on the features available at the time.

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information;
  • keeping important account information updated;
  • protecting your password and login details;
  • preventing unauthorized use of your account; and
  • informing Goodmums if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may take reasonable steps to protect an account where we identify suspicious activity, fraud, security concerns, or misuse.

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Information You Give Us

You are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order or requesting a service.

This may include your:

  • name;
  • phone number;
  • email address;
  • billing information;
  • delivery address;
  • product selection;
  • size or variant;
  • quantity;
  • payment information; and
  • other information reasonably needed to process your order.

Please check your delivery address and phone number carefully.

If incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information causes a delivery failure, Goodmums may charge applicable delivery, return-to-origin, or re-delivery costs.

6. Product Information

Goodmums aims to provide useful information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Depending on the product, information may include:

  • product name;
  • description;
  • price;
  • images;
  • videos;
  • brand;
  • model;
  • colour;
  • material;
  • size;
  • dimensions;
  • quantity;
  • country of origin;
  • specifications;
  • age guidance;
  • intended use;
  • safety information;
  • warranty information;
  • Pre-Order information;
  • estimated arrival;
  • manufacturer information;
  • product instructions;
  • test information;
  • reports;
  • certificates; and
  • other relevant product information.

Information may come from manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, product packaging, official product documentation, relevant experts, public sources, or other sources that we reasonably consider useful.

If any information important to your decision is unclear or unavailable, please contact Goodmums Support before placing your order.

7. Product Images, Specifications and Variations

We try to represent products accurately.

However, minor differences may sometimes occur because of:

  • screen settings;
  • photography;
  • lighting;
  • manufacturer packaging updates;
  • label changes;
  • minor manufacturer design revisions;
  • different production batches; or
  • other non-material variations.

A minor packaging or presentation difference does not automatically mean that the product is incorrect.

However, if the delivered product is materially different from what you ordered or from an important advertised specification, please contact us under our Return & Refund Policy.

Goodmums will not intentionally use this section to justify sending a materially different product without informing you.

8. Product Availability

Product availability can change.

A product may become unavailable because of:

  • stock changes;
  • supplier availability;
  • damaged inventory;
  • inventory errors;
  • manufacturer discontinuation;
  • import issues;
  • regulatory restrictions;
  • technical errors; or
  • another operational reason.

If we cannot supply a product that you ordered, we may contact you about an appropriate alternative or cancel the affected product or order.

If an eligible paid order is cancelled by Goodmums, the applicable refundable amount will be processed according to our refund terms.

Pre-Order products are subject to the separate Pre-Order sections of these Terms.

9. Prices and Charges

The product price will be shown or communicated before your order is finalized.

Other charges may include:

  • delivery or shipping charge;
  • payment or transaction charge;
  • bank charge;
  • mobile financial service charge;
  • return-to-origin charge;
  • re-delivery charge;
  • other clearly disclosed charges applicable to the transaction.

Where reasonably possible, applicable charges will be shown or communicated before the order is finalized.

Prices and charges may change from time to time.

A later price change does not normally affect an order that Goodmums has already accepted.

If we discover a significant or obvious pricing error before dispatch, we may contact you to confirm whether you want to continue at the correct price or cancel the affected order.

10. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are requesting to purchase the selected product under the information and conditions presented at that time.

Before confirming your order, please check:

  • product;
  • quantity;
  • size or variant;
  • price;
  • delivery information;
  • payment method;
  • applicable charges;
  • Pre-Order status;
  • estimated Pre-Order arrival;
  • warranty information; and
  • other important product-specific conditions.

You are responsible for reviewing these details before placing the order.

11. Order Confirmation and Acceptance

After you place an order, you may receive confirmation through:

  • the Goodmums website;
  • email;
  • SMS;
  • phone;
  • Facebook;
  • Instagram; or
  • another official Goodmums communication channel.

Goodmums may need to verify an order before dispatch.

In reasonable circumstances, we may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch.

Examples include:

  • product unavailability;
  • inventory error;
  • significant pricing error;
  • payment failure;
  • suspected fraud;
  • duplicate order;
  • delivery limitation;
  • incorrect customer information;
  • legal or regulatory restriction; or
  • another material operational problem.

Where Goodmums cancels an eligible paid order, we will process the applicable refundable amount.

12. Payment Methods

Goodmums currently supports or may offer payment through:

  • bKash;
  • Nagad;
  • Cash on Delivery (COD);
  • Bank payment or bank transfer.

All payment methods may not be available for every order.

The payment methods available to you may depend on factors such as:

  • product;
  • order value;
  • delivery location;
  • Pre-Order status;
  • technical availability;
  • payment-provider availability;
  • fraud or security controls; and
  • other reasonable operational conditions.

The payment options available for the specific order will be shown or communicated to you.

Goodmums may add, remove, suspend, or change available payment methods from time to time.

13. Payment and Transaction Charges

A payment method may create an additional transaction or service charge.

This may include a charge imposed by:

  • bKash;
  • Nagad;
  • a bank;
  • a payment service;
  • a payment gateway; or
  • another financial service provider.

Any payment-processing, transaction, bank, mobile financial service, transfer, or similar charge incurred when making a payment is not refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

These charges may be separate from the product price.

For example, if a payment provider charges a fee to complete your payment and the product later becomes eligible for refund, the payment-provider charge is normally not included in the product refund.

14. Advance Payments and Deposits

For some orders, Goodmums may request an advance or deposit where permitted.

This may depend on:

  • delivery location;
  • order value;
  • product type;
  • special sourcing requirements;
  • Pre-Order status;
  • customer/order history; or
  • another reasonable operational factor.

For delivery outside Dhaka, Goodmums may request an advance or deposit before processing or dispatching the order.

Any advance or deposit will be subject to applicable Bangladesh law.

Where applicable law restricts the amount that can be collected in advance, or requires an approved payment or escrow mechanism, Goodmums will apply the relevant requirement.

15. Delivery

Goodmums delivers within Bangladesh through courier or delivery partners.

The delivery process may depend on:

  • delivery location;
  • order confirmation;
  • product availability;
  • payment status;
  • courier service;
  • public holidays;
  • operational conditions; and
  • whether the product is an in-stock product or a Pre-Order.

Regular paid orders will be processed and delivered according to applicable Bangladesh digital-commerce requirements.

Where applicable law sets a specific delivery period, that requirement will apply.

Pre-Order products are different from immediately available products and are covered separately in Sections 21–26.

16. Delivery Estimates

Where Goodmums provides a delivery estimate, the estimate represents our reasonable expectation using the information available at that time.

The estimate may be affected by circumstances including:

  • location;
  • courier capacity;
  • order-processing time;
  • weekends;
  • public holidays;
  • weather;
  • road conditions;
  • transport disruption;
  • emergency conditions; or
  • another operational factor.

Where the law requires delivery within a particular period, an estimated date does not remove that requirement.

17. Delivery Delays

Some delays may happen outside Goodmums’ reasonable control.

Possible causes include:

  • courier disruption;
  • weather;
  • flood;
  • natural disaster;
  • transport interruption;
  • strikes;
  • emergencies;
  • road closure;
  • public holidays;
  • unusually high delivery volume;
  • government or regulatory action;
  • telecommunications failure; or
  • other unavoidable circumstances.

We will try to communicate a significant delay when reasonably possible.

A delay does not remove any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that applicable law provides.

18. Delivery Outside Dhaka

Goodmums sells and delivers throughout Bangladesh.

For some orders outside Dhaka, we may require an advance or deposit before processing or dispatching the order.

The amount may depend on the order and will be communicated before payment.

Any advance collected will remain subject to applicable legal limits and payment requirements.

19. Failed Delivery and Re-Delivery

Please make sure that:

  • your address is correct;
  • your phone number is correct and reachable; and
  • someone is reasonably available to receive the parcel.

If delivery fails because of a customer-side issue, Goodmums may charge or recover the resulting delivery, return-to-origin, or re-delivery cost.

Customer-side causes may include:

  • incorrect address;
  • incomplete address;
  • wrong phone number;
  • repeatedly unreachable recipient;
  • failure to receive the shipment;
  • refusal of an otherwise correct order;
  • cancellation after dispatch; or
  • another customer-caused delivery failure.

If you request a second delivery after a customer-caused failed attempt, additional delivery charges may apply.

A parcel that is genuinely damaged or materially incorrect will be handled under our Return & Refund Policy rather than automatically being treated as an ordinary customer-caused failed delivery.

20. Order Cancellation

For a normal, non-Pre-Order product, you may request cancellation before the order is dispatched.

Once the order has been dispatched, applicable delivery or return-to-origin charges may become payable if you cancel or refuse an otherwise correct order.

A cancellation request is not considered complete until Goodmums receives and processes it.

If an order has already been dispatched before the cancellation request is processed, the order may be treated as a post-dispatch cancellation.

Pre-Order cancellation is governed separately below.

21. Pre-Orders

Some products are offered before they are ready for ordinary immediate delivery.

These products are identified as Pre-Order products.

Where technically available, Goodmums will clearly show the Pre-Order status before purchase.

The purchase button may display:

Pre-Order Now

The estimated arrival information may also appear in:

  • product page;
  • cart;
  • checkout;
  • order confirmation;
  • order details;
  • invoice; and
  • order emails.

By placing a Pre-Order, you acknowledge that the product is not being sold as an ordinary immediately available product.

22. Pre-Order Estimated Arrival

The estimated arrival or availability period shown for a Pre-Order is an estimate.

It is not a guaranteed arrival date unless Goodmums specifically states that a particular date is guaranteed.

Many Goodmums Pre-Order products depend on international suppliers or imports.

The estimated arrival may change because of circumstances including:

  • manufacturer delays;
  • supplier delays;
  • international shipping;
  • customs processing;
  • customs inspection;
  • import requirements;
  • foreign regulatory changes;
  • international events;
  • weather;
  • natural disasters;
  • port disruption;
  • airport disruption;
  • airline issues;
  • shipping-line issues;
  • international transport interruption;
  • courier problems;
  • emergencies; or
  • other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Goodmums will try to update important estimated-arrival information when material new information becomes available.

An estimated arrival date does not allow Goodmums to keep a paid Pre-Order open indefinitely or override a refund right required by law.

23. Pre-Order Payments and Deposits

A Pre-Order may require:

  • a deposit;
  • partial payment;
  • an advance;
  • full payment where legally permitted; or
  • another lawful payment arrangement.

The applicable payment arrangement will be shown or communicated before the order is finalized.

Advance collection for Pre-Orders remains subject to applicable Bangladesh law, including any advance-payment limits or approved escrow/payment requirements.

Where a Pre-Order deposit is clearly identified as non-refundable and the customer later voluntarily cancels the Pre-Order, the deposit will normally not be refundable, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Payment-processing, bank, bKash, Nagad, transfer, or similar charges already incurred are also normally non-refundable.

24. Pre-Order Cancellation

Pre-Order products are sourced or arranged based on the expectation that the customer intends to wait for the product.

For this reason, a Pre-Order is not normally eligible for cancellation and refund simply because the customer:

  • changes their mind;
  • no longer wants the product;
  • purchases another product elsewhere;
  • no longer needs the product; or
  • does not want to wait within the applicable estimated process.

If a customer voluntarily cancels a Pre-Order for which a partial deposit was paid, that deposit may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This does not apply where:

  • Goodmums cannot complete the Pre-Order;
  • Goodmums proposes a material product change and the customer does not approve it;
  • Goodmums agrees to a refund;
  • applicable law requires a refund; or
  • another Goodmums policy expressly provides a refund.

25. Changes to a Pre-Order Product

A manufacturer or supplier may sometimes change a product before the Pre-Order is fulfilled.

If the change is material, Goodmums should contact you and obtain your approval before proceeding.

A material change may include a significant change in:

  • model;
  • version;
  • major specification;
  • important included accessory;
  • important product feature;
  • colour where colour was material to the purchase; or
  • price.

Goodmums will not intentionally supply a materially different Pre-Order product without customer approval.

If you do not approve a material change proposed by Goodmums, the order will be handled according to the applicable cancellation and refund rules.

This situation will not automatically be treated as an ordinary voluntary cancellation by the customer.

26. Pre-Orders We Cannot Complete

The maximum Goodmums Pre-Order period is 90 calendar days from the order date.

If a Pre-Order remains incomplete for 90 days or more from the original order date, Goodmums will treat the order as incomplete and arrange an applicable refund.

The 90-day period is a maximum Goodmums policy limit.

It does not mean Goodmums will wait 90 days when we already know earlier that the product cannot be supplied.

If Goodmums becomes aware that an eligible paid Pre-Order cannot be supplied, we may cancel it earlier and process the applicable refund, including where applicable law requires earlier action.

We may ask for reasonable evidence to verify the transaction or refund destination.

Examples include:

  • order number;
  • invoice;
  • payment record;
  • transaction ID;
  • phone number;
  • relevant account information; or
  • another reasonable proof of purchase.

27. Returns and Refunds

Our complete rules for cancellations, eligible returns, damaged products, materially incorrect products, refunds, evidence, and return procedures are explained in the Goodmums Return & Refund Policy.

Goodmums does not currently offer a general change-of-mind return policy.

A return may normally be considered where the delivered product is:

  • damaged; or
  • materially different from what was ordered or materially represented.

A visible delivery problem, damaged product, or materially wrong product should be reported as soon as reasonably possible and normally within 24 hours of delivery, with appropriate evidence.

An eligible return request should be made within 3 calendar days of delivery.

These periods do not remove any mandatory legal right that Goodmums is not permitted to exclude.

28. Refund Amount and Non-Refundable Charges

Where a refund is approved, Goodmums normally processes the eligible refundable amount within 7–10 business days.

A shorter period will apply if required by applicable law.

After Goodmums initiates the refund, your bank, bKash, Nagad, payment provider, or other financial service may require additional time to credit the money to you.

Depending on the situation, a refund may be made:

  • to the original payment method; or
  • through another refund method agreed with the customer.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the following amounts are not refundable once incurred:

  • original delivery or shipping charges;
  • payment-processing charges;
  • bKash transaction/service charges;
  • Nagad transaction/service charges;
  • bank transfer or banking charges;
  • payment-gateway charges;
  • other similar financial-service charges.

Where applicable, customer-caused return-to-origin or re-delivery costs may also be deducted or separately payable.

This means that the total refund may be lower than the total amount originally paid.

For example, if the product price is refundable but the order included a shipping charge and a payment-provider charge, the eligible refund will normally cover the refundable product amount rather than those already-incurred service charges.

For Cash on Delivery orders, applicable delivery charges already incurred may remain payable even where an eligible product is returned.

If the parcel is damaged or materially incorrect, the issue will still be reviewed under the Return & Refund Policy. The treatment of any delivery-related cost remains subject to applicable law.

Goodmums may request reasonable additional information or documents before processing a refund where necessary to confirm:

  • the order;
  • original payment;
  • customer identity where appropriate;
  • transaction;
  • refund account or destination; or
  • another relevant fact.

29. Warranty

Not every product sold by Goodmums has the same warranty.

Where a product has a warranty, the applicable warranty period should be stated in relevant product or order information.

Depending on the product, warranty information may appear on:

  • product page;
  • order details;
  • invoice;
  • order email; and
  • warranty card.

A warranty may be provided by:

  • Goodmums;
  • manufacturer;
  • distributor;
  • importer;
  • authorized service provider; or
  • another identified warranty provider.

Unless product-specific warranty terms state otherwise, the warranty starts from the date you actually receive the parcel.

Goodmums may use the WooCommerce/system Completed date as the automatic administrative warranty-start date.

If the system status was updated late or incorrectly, reliable courier or delivery evidence may be used to correct the warranty start and end dates.

Public holidays, off-days, courier reporting, or operational delays may sometimes affect when a system status is updated.

Both Goodmums and the customer may request a correction using reliable evidence.

Warranty criteria, exclusions, inspection requirements, available remedies, processing periods, and service procedures may vary by product.

Please read our Warranty Policy together with the warranty information for the specific product.

30. Product Instructions and Usage Information

Goodmums may publish product instructions, explanations, safety information, demonstrations, or usage guidance through:

  • product pages;
  • our website;
  • social media;
  • customer-support communication; or
  • other Goodmums content.

The information may originate from:

  • manufacturer;
  • distributor;
  • product packaging;
  • product documentation;
  • relevant expert;
  • recognized public information source; or
  • another third-party source.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, publishing or summarizing such information does not mean that Goodmums independently created, tested, verified, or certified every instruction.

Please check:

  • manufacturer instructions;
  • product warnings;
  • age guidance;
  • compatibility;
  • installation requirements;
  • safety information; and
  • product-specific limitations.

For a product involving health, medical, developmental, electrical, technical, compatibility, installation, or other specialist considerations, obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.

You are responsible for using products reasonably and following mandatory safety warnings and instructions.

Goodmums is not responsible for harm caused solely by:

  • misuse;
  • unauthorized alteration;
  • improper installation;
  • ignoring mandatory warnings;
  • use outside stated conditions; or
  • another customer-caused misuse,

except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that Goodmums cannot legally exclude.

31. Test Results, Reports, Certificates and Product Claims

Goodmums aims to make relevant product information more transparent.

For this purpose, product pages may contain or refer to:

  • laboratory reports;
  • test results;
  • certificates;
  • manufacturer tests;
  • third-party tests;
  • safety standards;
  • product claims;
  • supporting documents; or
  • source information.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Goodmums does not operate the laboratory that performed a third-party test.

Displaying a test result, report, certificate, manufacturer claim, or other source does not automatically mean that Goodmums independently tested or certified the product.

The meaning of a report or certificate depends on factors such as:

  • issuing organization;
  • product or sample tested;
  • test method;
  • scope;
  • date;
  • limitations;
  • applicable standard; and
  • warnings or qualifications.

Goodmums provides such information to improve transparency and help customers review available evidence.

If you believe a report, certificate, test result, source, or product claim is:

  • incorrect;
  • outdated;
  • misleading;
  • incomplete; or
  • unrelated to the product shown,

please contact us so that we can investigate.

32. Product Safety

Product safety is a priority for Goodmums.

If you believe a product creates a serious safety concern, please contact us as soon as possible.

Examples include:

  • injury;
  • choking risk;
  • contamination;
  • dangerous breakage;
  • overheating;
  • electrical issue;
  • serious allergic reaction;
  • unsafe component;
  • suspected counterfeit product;
  • incorrect critical safety instruction; or
  • another credible safety concern.

Depending on the situation, Goodmums may:

  • request evidence;
  • investigate;
  • contact the supplier;
  • contact the manufacturer;
  • contact the distributor;
  • temporarily suspend the product;
  • update information;
  • remove the product from sale;
  • contact affected customers where appropriate; or
  • take another reasonable safety action.

For a product-safety concern, contact:

Phone: +8801540767848
Email: hello@goodmums.com

When emailing us about a serious safety concern, clearly identify the message as a Product Safety issue.

Goodmums Support is not a replacement for emergency or professional medical assistance. If someone requires urgent medical help, seek appropriate emergency or medical care.

33. Reporting Incorrect or Missing Information

If you believe Goodmums has published important information that is incorrect, outdated, unclear, or incomplete, please contact us.

This may include:

  • incorrect specification;
  • incorrect warranty information;
  • outdated product information;
  • incorrect certificate or report;
  • incorrect test information;
  • safety information;
  • missing important information; or
  • another material error.

Goodmums may investigate and, where appropriate:

  • correct information;
  • add clarification;
  • update the product page;
  • contact a supplier or manufacturer;
  • temporarily suspend a product; or
  • remove information or a product.

We ask customers and other users to report concerns honestly and responsibly.

Nothing in these Terms prevents anyone from:

  • making a genuine complaint;
  • leaving an honest review;
  • reporting a safety concern;
  • contacting a regulator;
  • contacting a consumer-protection authority;
  • obtaining legal advice; or
  • exercising a lawful right.

34. Technical Problems and Missing Records

Goodmums uses digital systems, databases, servers, plugins, couriers, payment services, communication systems, and other technology.

Although we take reasonable steps to maintain records, unexpected technical incidents may sometimes make information:

  • unavailable;
  • incomplete;
  • corrupted; or
  • lost.

If important order, payment, return, refund, delivery, or warranty information is unavailable, Goodmums may ask you for reasonable alternative evidence.

This may include:

  • invoice;
  • order number;
  • payment receipt;
  • bank record;
  • bKash or Nagad transaction information;
  • transaction reference;
  • email;
  • SMS;
  • courier information;
  • tracking;
  • phone number;
  • social-media conversation;
  • product information;
  • warranty card; or
  • another reliable record.

An unavoidable technical problem or missing Goodmums record does not automatically cancel a legitimate customer right.

35. Reviews, Comments and Customer Content

Where Goodmums allows customers to submit:

  • reviews;
  • ratings;
  • comments;
  • images;
  • videos;
  • warranty evidence;
  • return evidence; or
  • other content,

you are responsible for ensuring that your submission is lawful and reasonably accurate.

You should not knowingly submit content that:

  • is fraudulent;
  • impersonates another person;
  • unlawfully reveals someone else’s private information;
  • infringes another person’s rights;
  • contains malicious code;
  • is intentionally deceptive; or
  • is otherwise unlawful.

Good-faith criticism, negative reviews, complaints, and safety reports are allowed.

Goodmums will not treat a genuine negative customer experience as misuse simply because it is critical of us or a product.

36. Acceptable Use

You must not intentionally misuse Goodmums or our systems.

Prohibited activities include:

  • unauthorized access attempts;
  • malware distribution;
  • intentionally interfering with website operation;
  • fraudulent payment activity;
  • deliberately submitting false refund evidence;
  • deliberately submitting false warranty evidence;
  • impersonating another person;
  • deliberately abusing promotions through deception;
  • attempting to obtain products, money, or refunds through fraud; or
  • using Goodmums for unlawful purposes.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, Goodmums may:

  • restrict account access;
  • cancel affected orders;
  • preserve evidence;
  • investigate suspected abuse;
  • cooperate with payment providers; or
  • report suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate authority.

37. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, Goodmums owns or is authorized to use the Goodmums brand, original website design, original text, graphics, photography, videos, layouts, and other original Goodmums content.

Some materials may belong to third parties.

Examples include:

  • product photographs;
  • brand trademarks;
  • manufacturer manuals;
  • certificates;
  • test reports;
  • technical documentation;
  • manufacturer videos; or
  • other licensed or referenced materials.

You may use Goodmums content for normal personal shopping and reference.

You may not reproduce, commercially exploit, falsely claim ownership of, or republish protected Goodmums content without authorization except where applicable law permits such use.

38. Third-Party Services

Goodmums may depend on third-party services to operate the store and complete orders.

These may include:

  • bKash;
  • Nagad;
  • banks;
  • payment providers;
  • courier companies;
  • manufacturers;
  • distributors;
  • warranty providers;
  • hosting providers;
  • social networks;
  • email providers;
  • embedded content providers; or
  • other technology or service providers.

Independent third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, service charges, processing periods, and operating rules.

Goodmums is not responsible for the independent operation of a third-party service that we do not control.

However, the use of a third-party provider does not remove any responsibility Goodmums has for its own legal obligations to you.

39. Our Responsibilities and Limits

Goodmums aims to:

  • provide accurate information;
  • process orders responsibly;
  • communicate important order information;
  • handle legitimate complaints fairly;
  • support eligible returns and refunds;
  • handle warranties according to applicable terms; and
  • respond responsibly to product-safety concerns.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Goodmums is not responsible for loss or damage caused solely by:

  • customer misuse;
  • ignoring mandatory product instructions;
  • unauthorized product modification;
  • unauthorized repair;
  • incorrect information supplied by the customer;
  • customer-caused delivery failure;
  • an independent third-party event outside Goodmums’ reasonable control;
  • an event outside our reasonable control; or
  • use of a product for a purpose it was not reasonably intended for.

Manufacturer or third-party information displayed for transparency does not automatically create an independent Goodmums certification or guarantee.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:

  • a mandatory consumer right;
  • liability that applicable law does not permit Goodmums to exclude;
  • responsibility for fraud or deliberate wrongdoing; or
  • another legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be waived.

40. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Sometimes Goodmums may be unable to perform an obligation on time because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • severe weather;
  • flood;
  • cyclone;
  • fire;
  • natural disaster;
  • war;
  • major civil disruption;
  • strike;
  • transport interruption;
  • customs delay;
  • import restriction;
  • port disruption;
  • airport disruption;
  • international shipping interruption;
  • supplier interruption;
  • manufacturer interruption;
  • regulatory action;
  • government restriction;
  • courier outage;
  • major telecommunications failure;
  • major server or infrastructure failure; or
  • another comparable unavoidable event.

When such an event affects an order, Goodmums will take reasonable steps to manage the situation and communicate important changes where possible.

This section does not remove a cancellation, refund, or other remedy where applicable law requires one.

41. Complaints and Support

If something is unclear or you believe there is a problem with:

  • product information;
  • an order;
  • payment;
  • delivery;
  • Pre-Order;
  • cancellation;
  • return;
  • refund;
  • warranty;
  • account;
  • product safety; or
  • another Goodmums service,

please contact Goodmums Support.

We aim to record and address customer complaints in accordance with applicable Bangladesh digital-commerce requirements.

We aim to address complaints within 72 hours.

Some matters, such as courier investigations, technical investigations, manufacturer assessments, warranty inspections, or product-safety investigations, may require additional time to fully resolve.

Where a complete resolution cannot reasonably be provided within that period, we will aim to provide an appropriate update and continue working on the matter.

Contacting Goodmums first may allow us to resolve an issue more quickly.

However, nothing in these Terms prevents you from using a consumer-protection, regulatory, court, or other legal remedy available under Bangladesh law.

42. Changes to These Terms

Goodmums may update, revise, or amend these Terms from time to time.

When the Terms are updated, we may change the:

  • Effective Date;
  • Last Updated date; or
  • both.

Where appropriate, a material change may also be communicated through the website, email, or another suitable channel.

Updated Terms generally apply from their effective date.

An updated policy does not automatically remove a right that already applies to an earlier completed purchase, refund, return, warranty, or claim where doing so would be unlawful or unfair under applicable law.

You should review these Terms from time to time.

43. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and purchases made directly from Goodmums are governed by the applicable laws of Bangladesh.

If a dispute occurs, we encourage you to contact Goodmums Support first so that we have an opportunity to review and resolve the issue.

If the issue cannot be resolved directly, you remain entitled to use any consumer-protection, regulatory, court, or other legal remedy available to you under Bangladesh law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict a right or remedy that applicable law gives you.

44. Contact Goodmums

If any product information, condition, policy, charge, warranty, delivery term, Pre-Order term, or other information is unclear, please contact us before relying on an assumption.
